“’I kissed a girl and I liked it!” Yeah, yeah, great song Katy Perry, and well done with going number one around the world with it, but my question to you is, ‘did you really kiss a girl?’, or are you simply cashing in on the new cultural trend of pseudo lesbianism sweeping the world? The latest star cashing in on gay power is Rihanna, with T’iamo…..although I have to say….I love the clip and it’s sexy as hell….
It seems that everywhere you look, there’s another pair of dopey chicks, simulating lust for her best gal pal, in the desperate hope that someone’s watching! They’re on facebook, they’re grinding at the clubs, they’re pashing at parties, wherever there’s an audience – which of course, for them, is ideally male! Since when did it become fashionable to be so pathetic? Oh that’s right, probably when the likes of Britney and Paris started falling out of clubs together holding hands and staring into each other’s crossed eyes! Call me cynical but I can’t help suggest that these two Hollywood Horrors are about as gay as Ita Buttrose, or Wayne Carey!
Of course, there’s no harm in experimenting, and it doesn’t mean that if you do then suddenly you’ll be hanging off the back of a float at Mardi Gras, but when you’re doing it in public, essentially to get attention from men, or because you think it’s the cool thing to do, then you need to take yourself off to a quiet little room and take a long hard look! I would suggest you’ve either got a problem with promiscuity, have been watching too many Britney videos, or you’re suffering some seriously low self esteem! Either way, you’re not being true to yourself and when you finally grow up, you may actually wish that you didn’t treat your self respect, or reputation as little more than a doormat!
It’s a fact that we all have male and female hormones, and for some girls, including the more girlie girls, or ‘lipstick lesbians’, they have a strong male energy which dictates how they feel and who they feel it for, and this often results in a desire for the same sex. For bisexual girls dating girls, it’s often about honouring your male energy and needs, and then going back to men to fulfil their female side. So girls will often treat their ‘girlfriends’ the same way they like to be treated by a guy, and that’s something they really enjoy!
Here’s something I never thought I’d say, but finally Lindsay Lohan has shown a side to her almost worth admiring. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, but she’s at least showing the guts to ‘come out’, with her gay relationship with Samantha Ronson. Ok, she hasn’t exactly held a press conference, nor should she have to, but she’s at least not appearing ashamed of it by ducking and weaving every time she sees a camera. Can’t imagine it’s been a move that her fame hungry mother Dina would be popping another bottle of Cristal over! And as for the cheerful chats with her agent and the like, over her new found love, well, you’ve got to give her some credit don’t you think?
Spare a thought for the real deal lesbians, or bisexual women, who must literally want to vomit every time they see these idiot girls in action! How much would it wind you up, if you’ve taken the hard path of growing up gay and proud, and then these twits turn up on the scene, doing what looks like a drunk Saturday Night Live send up of the gay community?
The thing is, all you ‘sell out sisters’, being a lesbian or bisexual is not a fashion trend! It was not merchandised alongside last summer’s maxi dress, and you can’t pick it up at your local store and then return it a week later because it doesn’t fit! You’re born bisexual, and you’re born gay! It’s pretty simple really, ‘if you kissed a girl and you liked it?’, then good on you, but don’t fake it to be cool!
CALLING LEGITIMATE GAY GIRLS!!!!!!!! DO THESE SORT OF GIRLS PISS YOU OFF, OR ‘BRING IT ON’?
