Firstly, What is Kinesiology ?

Put simply, kinesiology is a non-invasive method using muscle feedback and body awareness, that can help you to reduce stress,, improve performance at school, work and home, in sports, in relationships, and promote health and well-being.

I discovered Kinesiology when my first child was about 2.

After a very traumatic and stressful time when he was a baby, and then suffering from severe sleep deprevation for months and months on end, I was having trouble deciding if the second child I had dreamed of having would be possible for me. I felt that my experience has really scarred me and that if I was to have another baby with such chronic sleep problems that I would not be able to cope. After much time and discussion we decided to try and have a second child.

I got pregnant quite quickly but when I was a couple of months pregnant, I started to have massive anxiety and panic about this impending child. I was so worried that it would be the same as the first time and  I had no control over my emotions. I was angry, stressed and really just not coping with even basic things. I was very very worried, about myself and also about my unborn child.

I met a guy through the job that I was doing at the time and he was a Kinesiologist. I ended up confiding in him that I was not in a good place emotionally and that I really wanted to get some help before the baby came along.

He got me to come along to his clinic and to my absolute amazement and also delight. I started feeling much better after a few sessions. The techniques he used were gentle and non invasive and the sessions were actually quite enjoyable.

I was converted, and I had for a  known for a while,  that I wanted to change the direction of my career. This was the answer for me. I remember saying to him once. “I want to be able to do this for people ! !”

I felt so strong and happy and EXCITED about my pregnancy. I had my baby and things were so different, he slept, he was not sick and I was a relaxed and happy Mum to both of my beautiful children.

When my son was a few months old I started my study to become a Kinesiologist. It was part time so it worked really well for me. I felt like I was finally doing what I was meant to be doing and I thrived on the course and the knowledge it gave me. My kinesiologist, then offered to mentor me and so I have been learning some great techniques from him over the last 18 months or so.

I love what I do, I love being able to help people reach their potential and help people manage stress and anxiety in a natural and gentle way.

Kinesiology is empowering.

  2. Furthermore, i believe that mesothelioma is a exceptional form of many forms of cancer that is normally found in people previously exposed to asbestos. Cancerous cells form in the mesothelium, which is a protecting lining which covers most of the body’s body organs. These cells typically form in the lining of your lungs, mid-section, or the sac which actually encircles one’s heart. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

  3. I was ALWAYS told that I was too sensitive and over-emotional . ALWAYS. I’m deleintify sensitive to energy (mine and other people’s), noises, smells and any time I see anything remotely upsetting on TV or in a movie, I’m bawling like a baby (even before my PTSD issues). While I can multi-task if I need to, it’s very stressful. I need plenty of quiet and alone time, so much so that sometimes I worry if I’m becoming a shut in. But then, being sensitive means that I am able to see and feel things other people can’t. So these days I like it, once I learned to deal with it better. Yay for sensitive peoples!Svasti recently posted..

    • Oh I agree. I am very much embracing of my highly sensitive nature now, and those that label us drama queens or weak can go jam it as far as I’m concerned. As long as we know how to protect ourselves from certain situations and people, then the gift of being sensitive is that we can feel things and know things that others less sensitive can’t feel. So finally YAY for us having this part of ourselves after years and years of it being seen as a fault.x

  14. For the interest of creating an useful product comparisons, we’ve
looked at routers in this array that share similar attributes like IEEE 802.11n Wi-Fi standards, 2.4 GHz band
and dual antennas. If you are searching for a new router, nothing significantly less than an n router is
highly recommended. When you possess a wireless-g router, it will be a good idea
to upgrade into a wireless n router. The latest routers additionally raise speed
with wifi Quality of Service software (QoS) regular, which makes efficient use of Ethernet connections
by prioritizing multimedia visitors based on
the application’s sensitivity to delay. Many wireless n routers additionally apply
multiple-input and several-output (MIMO) radio antennae to increase speeds.
