ARE YOU PUTTING SOMETHING OFF BECAUSE YOU THINK IT WILL RUIN YOUR DAY?

Shifting the Mood
Attitude Follows Perspective

We all have to do things in our life that we don’t want to and the easiest solution is with to change our attitude.

We all have days when we are faced with chores, errands, or responsibilities that we don’t want to do. At times like these, it’s easy to get into a bad mood and stay in one as we tackle these tasks. However, given the fact that our bad mood will not change the fact that we have to do these things, and will most likely make things worse, we could also try to shift our attitude. Many wise people have pointed out that it is not so much what we do as it is how we do it that makes the difference in our lives.

It’s important when we’re facing something that’s really hard for us, whether it’s doing taxes, paying bills, or visiting a challenging relative, that we lovingly support ourselves through the process. The more supported we feel, the easier it is to open our minds to the idea that we could change our way of looking at the situation. In truth, most of the chores we don’t like doing are intimately intertwined with our blessings. When we remember this, we feel gratitude, which makes it hard to stay in a dark mood.

We can shift our attitude by considering how much we love our home as we clean it and how lucky we are to have a roof over our head. Any task can be transformed from a burden to a necessary aspect of caring for something we love. All we have to do is shift our perspective, and our attitude follows shortly behind.

  1. I have been oputting off calling soeone that is a real drainer but i have been manifesting how bad it will be you have inspired me to call teh said person right now and I know I will feel amazing xx

    • Good on you Jude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just do it by being calm, send them off with love and you’ll feel so much better. Actually I wrote a column about this – in my COLUMN section – it’s called The Social Colonic…..it may be a little less spiritual than this article but it’s all about cutting lose toxic people……..life is too short x

  2. Couldn’t agree more Amber. Being positive and having gratitude can make a massive difference not only to a task that is done with love. But also how we feel about ourselves while doing it.

    • well of course you should know considering what you’ve launched within yourself this week MISSY. I bet you’re very grateful to be able to take the plunge that you’re about to. xx

  3. Hi Amber, once again, last week I was reminded of false people around me. I had been feel for awhile about this person something is not right. And once again the universe showed me I was right. I just love the way the divine shows me how it is all in order. When you TRULY understan how the universe works and you SURRENDER it all to the DIVINE life just flows freely. Love and Peace to you.

    • Yep, so true my lovely friend. I’m so pleased that the one thing that I really listen to now is my intuition. I too had ‘that feeling’ about a person and a situation recently so I backed away and since then I just keep hearing things that confirm this person is not someone I want around me. I’m proud of myself for backing myself rather than waiting till it got to the disappointing point…. There’s certainly stuff going on this year don’t you think? Lots of testing and cleaning up areas we need to do once and for all.x
